I recieved a ARC copy in exchange for a honest review.

This was a great start to this series, great fight scenes, building passion, suspense and intriguing characters. Looking forward to learning more about this world and other characters.

Finn is a strong, fierce, alpha but years ago he had to push Lyra away trying to protect her not knowning she was pregnant and thinking she would be safer. Finn is very protective of those he cares for, we see his fierce and deadly side but we also see a slightly more vulnerable side.

Lyra was a very interesting character, she is highly protective, fierce when needed and handles certain situations in a creative way, a independant , strong character but vulerable considering the situation she is in.

We also get a glimpse into what a few others are thinking. Can't wait to get to know some more about some of the characters i met in this book :)
